1985 Jaguar XJS review from North America
"Unforgettable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning belt broke, easily fixed myself though.
Automatic gearbox blew 3rd gear at 100000k, approx $1000 us dollars to fix.
Seats begin to show a little wear and tear.
Ignition module blew, but very cheap to replace.
General comments?
The xjs is not the first jaguar I've had the pleasure to own, but by the far the best in terms of suspension, ride and pure power.
The long sporty lines shown especially in the bonnet length and twin headlights give the car a classic unable to be replicated 'sports car cruiser' styling and everywhere I go people ask me what kinda car is it.
Pleasure to have driven the small time I have owned it and don't plan to let it go until it inevitably becomes to expensive for me to maintain.
