1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo review from North America
"The best s.u.v. ever built"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The plastic over the passenger door broke.
The carpet is a little stained.
The police department drilled a hole in the a-pillar to mount a spot light.
The front bakes locked up around 153,000 miles.
The ground wire to the throttle position sensor broke the day I bought the truck.
General comments?
I love this Jeep, it has been the best truck that I have ever owned.
Ever since the purchase of this jeep I've found excuses to go to the mountains, to the hunting camp, or just for a short trail ride near the house.
This truck has never let me down when I needed a little power for a big mud hole or towing the boat to the lake.
The one advantage I have over the other jeep owners is that my jeep has no emisions control due to the fact it was a police vehicle once upon a time, so there's power on tap for hiway speed, but you can stop on a dime when needed to due to the fact that they are using direct manifold vacuum for the brake booster.
