1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo review from North America
"The best choice in a compact sport utility"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Universal ball joint had to be replaced.
Driver seatbelt ripped and had to be replaced.
Needed a new oxygen sensor.
Brake light failed twice in two weeks.
FM Radio is always on the fritz, very annoying.
Some of the speakers are blown.
If you unlock the vehicle from the driver door, the alarm goes off.
General comments?
Overall, a very reliable vehicle that is fast, and fun.
Interior has held up well over 160,000 miles.
The ride is uncomfortable and the road noise is very intrusive. Anything upsets the suspension.
We still love our Jeep and want to upgrade to a Grand Cherokee. Very happy with the vehicle.
