1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport review from North America
"The Cherokee is comfy, powerful, and will take you just about anywhere you want to go"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that went wrong is that the highway mileage started dropping from 20mpg to 10mpg at times. I searched the Internet for a cause and found that the oxygen sensors need replacing after 100,000 miles. Total cost - $107. It took me 10 minutes each to replace them and now it's getting 24 mpg!
General comments?
We bought the Jeep to prospect for gold in Nevada and Arizona which requires a lot of 4wd'ing. It has always performed extremely well, getting us into places that some of the bigger SUV's couldn't get to.
