"Fast, reliable and sporty"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

To date I have done very little to this truck except general maintenance. This is my second Comanche. I drove over 400 miles to buy this truck, that's how much I like these trucks.

General comments?

This is a super fast little truck.

It's a shame Chrysler discontinued this truck. I get comments on it everywhere I go, it's a real headturner.

I too have a Jeep Comanche. 1990 Eliminator 4.0L L6 motor putting out about 350 horses, with a AX15 5 speed transmission.

I love this truck!!! I have done all the work myself and have bought the Comanche new in December 1989.

The truck now has 245000 miles on the body and frame. The motor has about 35000 miles on it now. I get about 10 miles to the gallon, but I get where I'm going quick.

More Power, that's what it's all about. Engine mods: Stroker Kit from Hesco, Cam from Comp Cams, 60 thous over on the pistons, Ported Polished aluminum Head with roller rockers from Hesco, Bored and ported Throttle body from Hesco. Ported and polished Intake manifold, Headers with 3" exhaust all the way back (Stainless). Dana 44 with 4 11 Positive Track Rear, Dana 35 with Positive Track Front. Cold air intake from Hesco, High flow Thermostat Housing, High flow water pump. AGR Steering Box. All Plastic Vacuum Lines have been replaced with 1/4" Stainless Lines. And Many more Mods.

AGAIN I LOVE THIS TRUCK.

Thanks for listening

Bill.
