Factory clear coat/paint peeling.
(fixed when truck was repainted)
No mechanical problems to report.
Some age related rust troubles, but much
lower than average vehicles of the same
age/mileage.
A solid, durable, and reliable light
pickup truck. This is the best vehicle
I've ever owned, even better than my
previous old Toyota!!
Passes smog checks, with numbers well
below allowable limits.
My only negative comment, is that the
2.5 litre engine is underpowered for
long distance hi-way trips. Travel
up steel mountain roads in particular,
is slow going.
Have a 89 jeep comanche with 2.5 liter, egr stuck open at 103000 miles and burnt a hole in the #3 piston rebuilt engine, ported and polished head truck has a ton more power than stock has no issues with hills or highways I drive it 52 miles to work everyday and the only thing that I have had to do is put gas and tires on it gets 20 mpg and has not failed me since the engine overhaul love this truck won't give it up for anything. have almost 170,000 on it now and still running strong
