2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. review from North America
"This vehicle wore out long before it was paid off"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I would like to mention my disappointment with my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It seems that they have many "well known" problems that Jeep does not acknowledge or care about and wants the customer to pay for repeated repairs rather than admitting their mistake and recalling the vehicle to correct it properly.
- Warping rotors! I have had four new sets of rotors put on my Jeep over the past 20,000 miles that I have driven. That averages to 5000 miles per new set of rotors. In addition, I have had them turned between replacements. They have been turned after less than 3000 miles and they still pulse and squeak after around 1000 miles. Really, I do not drive hard nor do I brake that often. In fact, we live in a rural community and have minimal start and stop driving.
Does anyone know the permanent fix to this costly problem?
