1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo review from North America
"A reliable, fun, and good looking vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The A/C had to be repaired at 107000 miles.
The transmission switches from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st really fast when going about 10 miles per hour.
Brakes are rough and noisy, and it seems to take forever when you try to stop in an emergency.
General comments?
I have had this car ever since 1993 and it has been very reliable and useful.
The 6 cylinder is plenty of power for everyday use.
The front seats are very comfortable although the back seats could use some head-rests.
I will keep this vehicle until the day that it will not run any more. The engine is in excellent shape, mostly because I change the oil every 3000 miles. Castrol GTX 10W40 is what I find to be the best for the engine.
