2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited review from North America
"The best vehicle for portraying success without being ostentatious"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One head had to be replaced immediately after I bought it for unknown reasons. I had to convince the dealer to diagnose a very rough idle, which he called normal for the vehicle. Dealer replaced free of charge.
The leather on the steering wheel disintegrated at 50,000 miles. My extended warranty covered it for $50 surcharge.
The front rotors warp every 8-12,000 miles. I have learned how to replace them myself, saving serious money the last 4 times they were replaced.
General comments?
This car is a great looking vehicle.
This car has great acceleration and handling.
I cannot believe they have such a serious problem with the brakes on this vehicle.
