General comments?
The Grand Cherokee is a great SUV. Yes, I have had tons of repairs, but I'm hard on my cars. At one time I was commuting up to 5 hours a day in the car. Going from Northern Illinois to the Chicago Loop. If you are familiar with Illinois drivers and the road conditions, you will understand why the car needed so many trannies. We drive stop and go for over 60 miles on the way in and we run at 85mhp bumper to bumper on the way home. Very grueling for ANY auto. The car is very comfortable and is GREAT in the snow. I have the Select Track transmission and it is worth it in wet conditions. I had a 2001 Grand Cherokee with all wheel drive. I HATED IT! The '94 is way better in the snow then the 2001. The in-line 6 cylinder engine will run forever. I change the oil every 5,000 miles.
