Window molding coming apart
alarm does not work properly - genuine Jeep - not aftermarket
scratches on car at delivery
cigarette burn hole marks in sunroof shade
damage to hood
damage to center console - deep marks
.
Note the vehicle only has 389 miles on it.
This car engine wise and transmission wise is fine. Otherwise - vehicle is made very cheaply!!! Gas mileage is horrible!!!
Would not recommend - but a TOYOTA or HONDA.
Well since it only has 389 miles on it, it sounds like you bought it just a couple of days ago correct? Unless you thrash the hell out of the interior this can't happen on it's own. Sounds like you're was damaged prior to delievery, and you took it that way. Perhaps you should look over your vehicles a bit more before you purchase them.
I am curious...A) Did you not see these things before you bought it? B) Why didn't you insist the dealer correct them or select a different vehicle? Having a vehicle for 389 miles does not give an accurate picture of a vehicle for a review... especially when those issues are cosmetic. A Honda or Toyota dealer could have trashed one of their vehicles as well.
Correction: Stop using your sunroof shade as an ashtray.
Based on your complaints, and the high probability that the Jeep was delivered to you thoroughly trashed, I suspect you are not a very observant person. Have you checked to see if anyone took a dump on the rear seat of your new Jeep? If, after you inspect the rear seat, you discover that has occurred would you consider that 'Dump' a Jeep Manufacturing defect as you obviously have the cigarrette burns and damaged console?
Jeep horror stories are available thanks to extended warranty and available records, unlike 3-years-and-get-rid japanese pretenders..
