2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition review from North America
"Overall great looking and driving SUV"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brakes squeak when braking. The dealer put something on them to help stop the squeaks, but it doesn't work.
All four shocks have been replaced twice. The first time the shocks would rub and squeak in the cold weather over large bumps. The second time the shocks needed replacing, all 4 shocks were leaking fluid. Since they have been fixed, no problems to report.
General comments?
I love my Jeep.
It is pretty quick with the I-6 even though more power would be great.
This is a great SUV. I have had two issues that have both been covered under warranty. My dealer had free loaner Jeeps while your car is in the shop. Other than the brakes and shock there has been no problems and the dealership has coopereated fully. I will definitly cosider another Jeep in the future.
