2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee review from North America
"It needs to be recalled for brakes"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brakes are defective. Chrysler has done nothing to correct this severe problem. The rotors warp under heat and have to be cut every few thousand miles. The car shakes when braking at 55 mph or more when this happens.
I have had to replace the water pump, coolant relay switch twice, and have had difficulty starting the car due to fuel injection issues. The car leaks anti freeze. At 30,000 miles the battery died. My heated seats do not work and the front spspeakers are blown out.
I was lied to by the dealership and told I needed new brake pads when in fact it was the rotors that were warped! This is the worst car purchase I have ever made.
General comments?
This car is a headache.
