1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee review from North America
"It's been a great vehicle the last 5 yrs!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Current problem with car. Drove approx 45 miles, almost to destination. Jeep broke down-engine stopped running and died while going 65 mph, pulled over, car would not turn over, towed home.
Sensor crank repaired, ran for 2 weeks then drove 55 miles home BC still stalling when foot on brake at lights, and also when put into drive from reverse. Seems to idle low and have to give gas when stopped so doesn't die.
Driving back car dies at 45 miles of drive. Engine will turn over, but will not start. Towed to driveway and next morning Jeep starts. Jeep died at approx same mile marker it did 4 weeks earlier. Could something be overheating when Jeep drives longer trips? My Mechanic has called Jeep still no solid answer what is causing this. Please help... post comment please or refer to site or suggest culprit thank you :)
New Radiator, alternator 100k
New Brakes 88k.
113k Back door will not stay open when ajar.
Front speakers blown out, no display on radio, antenna broken, alarm sounds when no one around car.
General comments?
A/c not the best
cd player will not play cd's that you burn or create yourself, only storebought cd's
alarm system not the best.
