2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo review from North America
"Don't buy Jeep"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have the same truck, 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee & have been told that I too need to have the transmission valve body replaced. I had the vehicle in the same dealer 2 weeks ago describing the same symptoms to which they changed a gas cap, two vacuum hoses costing me $250 but failed to see any other problems and now they've found this. I just turned 36,200 mile mark. It's been two weeks now since the part has been on order. They told me not to drive because I can do more damage. Here we are two weeks later they tell me that Detroit can't give them an ETA on this part because of high demand.
IT'S A LEMON...
General comments?
Its a great vehicle besides these issues however I'm still thinking TRADE.
