1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer review from North America
"If you like the look, you'll like everything else"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter, alternator, but not anything major.
One electric rear window dead, rear window dash switch is bad.
Front doors sag, otherwise a mechanically strong
engine/transmission.
Most accessories/parts are inexpensive as they are Ford/GM/Chrysler parts.
General comments?
This baby is definitely grows on you. The wood grain is part of the style. I would have difficulty in parting with it. Only used four wheel drive a few times, but it is good. This truck hugs road well, is not too top heavy and rides smooth on the highway for comfort.
Last of the big raised wagon family V8 that is still carburated.
