1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer from North America - Comments

"Not that bad of a truck..."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Shook Badly.

"Painted" our former white concrete driveway black...

Burnt/leaked all of its oil within a week... Every Sunday practicly became oil change day even though no oil was actually removed. Adding 4-5 quarts of oil weekly gets expensive...

While trying to do a burnout with it the rear end blew up.

Frame and body badly rotted.

4wheel drive low range broke after getting stuck in mud that my Current Blazer flies through in 2wd.

General comments?

Even though this truck had its problems, it was still a very quick truck 0-60 was about 10seconds and it would hit 70 on the highway within the time you would expect 50 or so.

Fuel economy sucks, was getting 8mpg most of the time.

Perhaps if this was a older model with a Manual transmission and without woodgrain (yuck), and definetly with more than 144hp I probably would have it now...

I disagree, a Jeep Wagoneer will go where a Blazer never dreamed. The Jeep will go in 2wd where the Blazer won't go in 4wd. I know this cause I have owned both, so don't diss the Wagoneer unless it's fact.
