2000 Jeep TJ Sahara review from North America
"The best serious SUV"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace a circuit board related to the Sentry theft deterrent key system. This occurred within six months of purchase. No other problems.
General comments?
My previous car was a '95 Wrangler YJ. The '00 Wrangler TJ Sahara is a vast improvement in every sense.
This Jeep has proven to be a nimble, highly reliable, all weather/all terrain vehicle.
The Sahara package provides reasonable creature comfort (for a Wrangler), without diminishing the vehicle's utility and sturdiness. I bought this Jeep four years ago, and now -- 43,000 miles later -- it's given me virtually no problems, and no operating expense aside from regular maintenance.
