1990 Jeep Wagoneer Limited review from North America
"I wouldn't buy anything else"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 140,000 miles, a thermostat stuck closed, and caused the radiator to blow off a plastic connector.
At 145,000 miles, injector o-rings leaking.
At 150,000 miles, the parking brake cables froze.
A hose-clamp on the fuel pump is loose, causing hard starts.
General comments?
I love my Jeep. It's gone through almost every mud hole I've brought it to.
The 4.0 engine has plenty of power, even though it's the earlier renix fuel injection system. The AW4 transmission has no problems, they've been known to go for 400,000 miles.
