Great jeep (not a car).
Went through brakes at 15000.
Was told I ride the brakes to much (rubbish).
Funny I have owned five cars, never had that problem.
Seat doesn't go back far enough, I am 6 foot 2 inches.
Steering wheel and mats are wearing badly.
Problem with the soft top leather straps that hold the window - they ripped.
Paint chips from small rocks from the freeway.
Rear seat a monster to get out.
Ride is a little rough, but it's a Jeep.
Great jeep (not a car).
Problems have been with the dealership and service.
Dealer lied to me about my purchase.
I went to the Jeep website and built my Jeep printed out my needs and order.
Gave it to a salesman who told me that a Jeep on the lot met all my need except no ABS brakes.
Well he lied, it was missing the sound system I requested and underplating that I requested.
In all missing 10 items I requested.
The dealership is Joe Keerley in San Jose (Do NOT buy a car from them).
Great comments, I want to know more about your experience of the Jeep itself. Would you recommend someone buying a new or used Jeep? I am currently in the market for a Jeep Wrangler.
Still have the 2001 jeep wrangler its now 2005 and the fog lights will not turn off.
This started at 50,000 miles.
Kept the jeep in great shape.
How do you prevent the foglight switch that is located on the turn indicator from going out?
I would still buy a jeep just not one from the above mentioned dealer in san jose.
