1999 Jeep Wrangler SE review from North America
"THERE'S ONLY ONE 4x4 CONVERTIBLE TO OWN"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Airbag light came on and instrument panel died out every other day.
(under warranty)
Steering wheel makes an irritating squeal while turning when cold and rainy. (how do you fix?)
Dashboard leaks when it rains.
(how do you fix?)
Side of driver seat cracked and it looks very bad.
(is it the quality of the material/compounds?)
Zipper tracks for windows on half doors are not rugged enough to be on a jeep.
(?)
Knob to control fan broke twice in less than 4 months.
(is it the quality of the material/compounds?)
Seatbelts in the back wore down after hitting roll bar when top is down.
(?)
Windshield collects more chips from rocks than it does bugs?
(?)
General comments?
With all of the little set-backs, jeep is still a one and only. it's unique, reliable and down right fun.
I was never in the market for purchasing a jeep, it sort of fell into my lap.
It's rugged enough for any condition. rain, sleet, snow or shine.
I really think daisy duke from hazzard county had a lot to do with making the jeep look sooooo goooood. not to mention the now infamous daisy duke's short-shorts. ***jeep smiley face***
