1991 Jeep Wrangler S review from North America
"A real trooper"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gas gauge doesn't work.
Burns oil.
Motor runs weak and knocks.
General comments?
My Jeep runs as well as I would expect from a car approaching 200k miles. The motors appears to burn oil, but I am convinced this is because of the high mileage, not that it is a poor quality car. My Jeep is very dependable, it's starts without problems and is always able to take me where I am going. My Jeep handles a variety of highway miles between college and home frequently, daily city driving, lengthly road trips out of state and occasional off roading without any major mechanical problems. It does run weak and occasionally struggles up a large hill. Overall I think I got a great deal on my Jeep. My only regret is not getting the in-line six motor.
