Water pump broke dramatically at 90 000 miles
Radiator was replaced by previous owner
In-tank Fuel pump went in 85000miles-it was pain in the ass to replace!
Shock absorbers are worn out now.
Tps sensor went outin 86000miles, that was easy to replace, but expensive!
Oil pressure sender or oil gauge is freaking out. easy to install.
Its not comfy, its loud and with 4-banger its quite slow; top speed appr. 90mph, power 121hp is just about adequate.
Good sides are great fuel economy with manual tranny- and without lifts.
Negative is the bad fuel economy after lifts.
2.5 models have better gearing for offroad, but they lack slightly power.
Gas tank can be increased for 91 and newer models; there is tube inside the fueltank.
Good thing is also that trouble codes are easy to get like in mopars in general.
Good value. I would not sell it for the price I bought it!
And its unbelievable on trails, even stock!
Update on my review; sold the vehicle while got good price.
Proves that Wranglers hold their value well.
Now I commute with more boring RWD vehicle and miss the Jeep.
It was good, only bad thing was that I did all the major repairs (like written; water pump, fuel pump, brakes etc.) and I know that next owner really got the benefits of it.
I want to buy one again, but those are so darn expensive...
