2000 Kia Clarus GSi review from Singapore
"A bargain for the car-expensive Singapore"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A bit of vibration when going at above 100kph when first purchased. A Korean engineer who came on an inspection round
detected the problem (mounting out of alignment due to a bad knock on the road curb by the previous owner) replaced the mounting and hey presto! the vibration is now gone.
As the car is now almost 3 years old and the warranty is expiring soon, I tried to find fault wih the car to pursuade my wife to change to a new car. I just CANNOT find any fault with it!! So, it is going to stick with me for quite a while more.
General comments?
Having driven a MB for years, I begin to realize how economical and quiet it is to drive another car.
The Clarus is very roomy. Big enough to put in my daughter's cello in the back seat with two her friends, whereas my son (a six footer) could not even sit straight in my previous 190E.
