2001 Kia Rio RS review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have yet to have a problem with my Tercel. My Kia Rio I bought it on March 3, 2001 and it has been in the shop 3 times. One time for 4 days and they still say there is nothing wrong. I know cars, I have had about 8 cars, and this is by far the worst lemon I have ever had. No amount of money in the world would get me to buy another Kia product.
When I picked up the car it had scratches on the rear bumper the dealer did not tell me about. I found out the same day when I got it home and was checking out the car. Every time I turned the signal lights on my clock would start to blink too.
My car smells like rotten eggs sometimes. It gets so bad my 7 year old son got sick from it.
My gas mileage went from over 500km's per tank down to 350 to 400km's per tank within three tanks of gas.
Please save you money and get yourself a good Canadian or American car.
General comments?
Kia sucks.
They just want your money and then they don't want you.
They do not have any regards for people after they've got you.
The cars look good and ride good. But it does not make up for the problems you will have.
