Nothing yet. I have read the poor reviews and I am crossing my fingers that the new 2003 Rios are an improvement over the past performances.
I am concerned about the hot CD player.
I love the car. It fits my short chubby body with the tilt wheel and the adjustable driver's seat, the gas mileage is excellent, and it takes California mountains just fine, even with the air conditioner on.
I forgot to add this to my review on my 2004 Rio.
It too suffers from a hot CD player.
I've driven 1500k's in the 1 day in the Rio, at about the 2 hour point. You could cook eggs on the cd that's been playing. Fortunately 3 years later & no CD's have melted.
The KIA servicing department says this is normal & nothing's been changed.
The CD player still runs fine though.
