2001 Kia Sephia Base review from North America
"until things get better with this one, it sucks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Have had the car a year.
Headlights started blinking dim to bright. was put in shop for that. claims it was fixed, but its doing it again.
Exhaust leaked, was taken to the shop 3 times before they decided to replace it with new parts.
Check engine light came on. put in shop to fix this. claims that gas cap was not properly put on the day the light came on. I have a problem with that. there was no gas put in the day that happened.
An oxygen censor has had to be replaced.
Right before Christmas of last year it had to be towed in not once, but two times. they claimed water was in my gas. this cost me $230.00 to fix. we had the gas tested where we bought it and they both tested negative for water.
Now today it has returned to the shop because it doe not want to start of a morning after it has set up all night.
They tell us either the junction box is going bad or something to do with the gas pressure is going out on it.
But it is just fine to keep driving it until the parts come in next week.
It maybe all right to drive it, but is it going to quit and strand me on the side of the road somewhere.
General comments?
Thought I was getting a fair, good car. but i'd rather have my 1991 Plymouth Voyager back. at least I could depend on it.
