2001 Kia Sephia review from North America
"The biggest mistake you can make would be to buy a KIA"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The air conditioner was removed after I test drove, but before I bought it. After getting the BBB involved I was told it was my own fault for driving it off the lot without it in November.
I went through two transmissions in one year, and it is an automatic. My first transmission went four months after purchase and the second one went a few months after that.
I was given a lot of false promises about maintaining it.
Nothing seems to be included in the bumper to bumper warranty.
I was told there were all season tires on this KIA then I bought it only to find out I was driving with my new baby in this car with summer tires on all winter long. It's amazing we weren't killed.
When I traded it in two years after purchase I found that my 1994 Saturn was worth more money.
General comments?
Buying this vehicle was the biggest mistake of my life. It's like buying a disposable car because it's not worth anything the moment you drive it off the lot. I put myself and my families lives in jeopardy driving that car for 2 years. I will neither own or ever buy any car again from the dealership I purchased it from.
