2004 Kia Sorento LX review from North America
"Very dependable vehicle!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator failed at 120K. Timing belt replaced at 70K. Spark plugs replaced at 85K & spark wires. Tires replaced at 50K - needing to be replaced again, drive axle fluid drained and replaced fluid. Brake disc and shoes replaced at 62K, transmission fluid replaced at 50K 100K, tail lights bulb went out at 67K.
General comments?
Besideds all the regular maintenance repairs, this SUV have far sucessed my expactions. I never knew I would have a kia this long. This has outlasted my Oldsmobile vehicle that died at 88K. I have to say the kia's are a very dependable vehicle and have amazing power. The only thing about the Sorento is the gas consumption. I drive in city about 56 miles roundtrip daily. In the summer time, towing a 21 FT boat with the sorento is no biggie. Also, have driven this sorento cross country 5 times to visit family, never never I mean never gave me a problem, very reliable vehicle. Definite a winner here and I will get another Sorento here when I complete my loan in about 8 months. I have to say I am a proud owner of my kia sorento.
