This is my wife's family car for getting the kids around. She is very easy on the car and has never had an accident. It looks good and only has 55,000 kilometers on it.
It is gutless, sluggish and gets worse fuel economy than my buddies Touareg. This vehicle has never missed a service and has always had preventative maintenance as well. What a disappointment. The dealers have been less than accommodating as well.
I agree totally, have been trying to resolve a noise problem for 3 years, did everything possible, and the response I got for KIA HEADQUARTERS WAS "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS AND IT WILL DO NO GOOD TO GO FURTHER". The noise from the transmission bearing is "NORMAL", then they blamed the shop that put in the clutch, the district field person is always correct although his finding is totally wrong it will STAND..
Run as far away from KIA as possible. This is the 5th complaint I have had and they do not stand by their product, Customer reps all have the same reply - "the decision is final and there is nothing you can do". I have a Kia that sounds like a diesel and "THIS IS NORMAL".
