Had to have the Struts replaced at 55000 miles. Now at 85000 going bad once more.
Other than this everything is OK.
It runs great and is fast.
Lots of room.
Just wait another 10K miles... and then you may want to change your happy face to a very, very (frustrated and financially strapped from repairs) face. Bought a 99 Sportage with 33K, now at 93K...once one thing goes, the whole thing is shot. In the last 3 weeks I had to have repairs to: 1) timing belt (OK these things happen at near 100K) ; 2) the battery 3) the alternator 4) a short which required entire wiring harness to be replace (1K in labor alone) 5) the fuel pump & filter & 6) now it has a shot valve and is running on 3 cylinders... all this in only 3 weeks...
