2000 Kia Sportage review from North America
"Even with its flaws I believe the Kia Sportage is was worth the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Car runs fine, handles and looks great. It starts right up in all weather. Getting on the highway is smooth as the 5 speed tranny pushes the four cyliners to deliver power to the drive wheels.
I bought the sportage for the 4 cylinder gas mileage. I was so dissapointed, I found it's hard on gas.
General comments?
Most annoying is the gasoline filler door lever, which digs into your leg while you are driving. I solved the problem as I bent with a plier so as to kiss the carpet.
Last, but not least, the blower motor in low gear rumbles so loud its hard to hear the cd/radio.
However even with its flaws I believe the Kia Sportage is was worth the money.
I would buy another.
