1995 Lada 2105 review from Iceland
"It is marvelous darling, marvelous *=)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Thermostat broke at 89,000 km.
Water pump gave in at 95,000 km.
Had to change the battery at 95,000 km.
The drivers seat was bad when I got the car, had to change it as well.
The wires from the air flow sensor were cut,
still have not replaced it, and it idles bad when cold.
General comments?
It's not a performance car, it's only a box on wheels that will get you from one place to another without any serious problems.
It handles like crap, but it's fun to drive in the snow.
I have driven this car to work and other activities, and the l/100km should be about 6.2L/100km highway and 9.2L/100km urban (the manual).
Mine has about 9.5 to 11 L/100km.
Interior is good.
Seats are OK for long drives.
I hope mine lasts forever.
Easy to repair and spares cost little. It's a good car for a low price.
