1998 Lada Samara d review from F.Y.R.O. Macedonia

The car stood on a platform for year or two before being sold to me so it color and its brightness was gone..

Bumpers especially the rear one has the tendency of falling apart..as not fixed the right way.. it has never been tightened the right way..

Seats cover surface got worn out easily..as though they were heavily damaged since I bought the car..

Front wipers produce this terrible noise by wet rubbing on the windscreen itself,and were changed before...

Dashboard suffered collision-rigid plastic made quality overall..

One door handle wasted slightly after I bought the car..

4 door locks got stuck, they could not be replaced at any cost.

Steering gives this noise when turning on the left..

Clutch brakes loose..

Rear brakes need replacement only after 50.000 km..

Indicators never worked properly as the electrical plugs could not establish good connection..

Leak in the cooling system..

Hood makes it difficult to close unless closing on force..

Excellent heating system, but poor ventilation..

the speedometer produces noise..

Rust (tailgate wheels, chasis)...

Gearbox stuck by shifting from first into second gear...

Wheel rims do not fit well the tires.

Durable suspension..

Efficient front brakes..

Easy to handle..

Cheap to maintain..

Excellent heating system and headlights..

Solid and strong chassis..

Efficient bumpers..

Good acceleration..

Great engine...

Robust and reasonably comfortable..

Useful dashboard parts.. like the greatest car to drink wine.. and find a place on the dashbord where to put the glasses and the bottle... that is what me and my friend Igor do during weekends..

Old, but sexy looks exterior..
