Good to hear a comment about the new discovery, recently purchased the run-out model series 2 TD5 'S' CLASSIC, fantasic vehicle on road and off road in the Australian outback. The worry regarding the new Diesel is the fact the engine was not initially designed as a 4x4 engine taking into account the stresses of off road capability of the vehicle, whereas the TD5 engine was built specifically for that task, will be interesting to see how it copes in the long term. Hope its as good a vehicle as the TD5, fingers crossed.
