"Absolute crap"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Interior plastic trim cracking after purchase.

LHS CV joint sheared, requiring expensive replacment.

Radiator hoses cracked (especially the ones around the water pump and valley gasket).

Park brake light randomly comes on, also speed sensor gummed up at 200k.. pulled apart and cleaned.

Sump gasket seal not sealing.. even with hylomar..

Rear diff seal replaced and speedy sleeve required due to excess wear on diff flange.

Crankshaft pulley/harmonice balancer flange worn causing oil leakes.. oil pump washer drain plug leaks.

Heater matrix leaking causing scalding coolant to leak onto the floor pans.. dangerous.. stupid design.

Transfer case has had a very bad whine for 2 years and is stuffed.. as are most case's from this year.

Gudgeon pin loose on number 4 piston.. causing piston slap at light throttle.

General comments?

The build quality and finish on this car is very poor.

Unlike Arnie say's "I won't be back"

OK the car had had many things go wrong with it, but you bought it with 170k on the clock and it has now done 200K+. Not many cars out there that are still going at this mileage!

? if that's absolute crap what have you owned previously? from the sounds of things it might have been taken off road a bit? and I mean radiator hoses? have you ever owned a car before they are all made of rubber and they even crack. Call me crazy, but sounds like not much went wrong, but mainance items.
