1998 Land Rover Discovery LSE review from North America
"Great truck, I'm never getting rid of it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Manifold gasket, alternator, 02 sensor.
General comments?
This has been the best vehicle I have owned. It easily handlles its competitors off road and is fun to drive. Don't buy a rover if you expect it not to leak oil or to be free of maintenence. They are a designed for off roading and are not the typical suv. If you are planning to get a rover do some research first, they are not for everyone, but if they are for you you'll be hooked.
I do my own work and my maintenence (except for the intake gasket because it was on a trip) costs have been $100/10,000 miles while I have owned the truck.
98 Discovery I LSE.
