2004 Land Rover Freelander SE review from UK and Ireland
"Would not recommend anyone to buy one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I wouldn't recommend to anyone as I had some very bad experiences with this car. I bought it from the first owner who had done high mileage, and soon as I bought it I had to spend over £1000 on repairs.
It's a nice car as far as comfort, but what you really want is a good car that will not rip you off, but this has ripped me off big time.
The head gasket goes after 50000 miles, and you will have an engine problem for some time, and you will keep spending money like nothing.
If you have one, get rid of it before it's too late, so soon as I got rid of it I bought a Shogun GDi 4 door Mitsubishi; it has not given me any problem yet, and I'm loving every bit of it.
