2001 Land Rover Freelander ES review from Australia and New Zealand
"L E M O N"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brake Shoes replaced in first year less than 10,000
In the first three months the car would not keep running when started unless you had it in neutral (it is automatic) but you could not start it in park and had to be towed twice
Transmission is currently being replaced at less than 55,000 cost $5,000+
$4,000 repairs done at under 50,000 for a speed sensor (landrover paid even though out of warranty)
Rear brake light above spare was on permanently.
