1980 Land Rover Series 3 LWB review from UK and Ireland
"Brilliant all-weather, All-terrain car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Suspension's looking a bit worse for wear (Leaf springs are spreading)
Brake lights don't come on (Due to the switch)
Very, very smoky.
General comments?
Noisy, unless you use ear plugs for every journey, don't bother with them. My car has been relatively reliable a few minor glitches are all, nothing serious.
I love them even if lots of people don't.
They are also a relatively easy restoration for the beginner.
Good muscle-builder as well due to the steering.
