1992 Lexus ES300 review from North America
"Looks and feels expensive and new"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One of the gauge cluster lights is failing, if I tap the dash it comes on.
The red tachometer needle has a small
burnt out section on it.
Several brake lights have burned out.
My brakes are wearing out very quickly.
General comments?
This is a beautiful car, you can hardly
tell it is 10 years old, due to its
styling.
It is very responsive, and handles very
nicely. Most notable is the steering,
very precise.
The engine has good acceleration, and is
very quiet.
A power mode button on the transmission
gives faster acceleration.
This car has serious ice cold AC.
