1992 Lexus ES300 review from North America
"A Legendary Car that Served me Well"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My first mistake when servicing this car was taking it to the local Lexus dealer here in Sacramento. Every time I brought it in, they found more oil leaking from my car. I invested quite a bit of money fixing it until I began using the Toyota dealer in my hometown of Davis, which has been such a relief. The mechanics there are very
knowledgeable about the ES300, since the chassis is a V6 Camry anyway. Recently, I have only done regular maintenance to the vehicle, but in the past, I have replaced the starter, battery, tires, and the cam, crank, and oil pump drive seal.
General comments?
I absolutely love this car, and have just given it to my niece, who gushes about it every time I see her. Since this is her first car, everyone at school considers her the luckiest person in town, basically. I myself have recently upgraded to the GS300, and disagree with her friends- I am the luckiest person in town.
