2000 Lexus GS300 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Comfort, Reliable, reasonable cost; handling can be improved"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really, only the left headlamp cover is not as transparent as the other side after I got the car for 3 month, Lexus dealer replace a brand new one for me without any cost, good services.
General comments?
Compare to my previous GT3000, GS is really a great car. The first reason is comfortable and quite. Second reason, they provide a good service, you spend much less for inspections and services than the other cars in this class for example 5-series and E-class. Third reason is reliable, this car is just reliable as Lexus claimed, I mean what else do you want from a car?
On the other side, the front tyres seems wear much faster than 5-series and E-class. The VSC system activated too frequently thus helps too much when you drive, try the new model 06 GS, they solve this problem. But the handling is not as good as those European cars. I think I will move to the LS, the top line in Lexus for my next car.
