1998 Lexus LS400 review from North America
"One of the best cars on the road"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hood gas struts weak, replaced under warranty.
Nothing else.
General comments?
Definitely the best car I've ever owned.
The car gets 26mpg cruising a 75 mph, even better at lower speed.
Extremely smooth and quiet.
Transmission and engine are gems.
Sneaky fast, it's so composed doing it that it comes as a shock to see how quickly and fast it can move.
The brakes are very powerful and smooth.
While no sports car, it does handle very well for a car it's size and type. Larger tires would probably make it even better.
The Nakamichi stereo is outstanding, great sound and depth.
I basically have nothing negative to say about it.
