Bought the car used from the original owner a doctor from Canada. I replaced the wheels with low profile chrome 18's. only for cosmetic reasons. had to replace the brake system with all new lifetime brakes pads ($26. front $23. rear from autozone) and rotors ($22.ea. forigein auto parts). also, bought new 2000 front bumper cover ($174. lexus factory repaired) and want to update rear tail-lights with 2000 chrome ones too. going to leave sound system stock, but, had to repair factory amp ($20. capacitor) interested in new Lexus stainless steel lighted door sills too. front drivers headlight is misty. power steering leaks. belly pan needs to be placed because, jiffy-lube fault! dimming/blinking cluster needles, small cracks (1/2") in door panels up front where panels touch dash board, cracks in center bazel around heater vents(but, found a couple parts cars at a local junkyard)
Love this car a lot. get a lot of positive comments from everybody. drives beautiful. steering is tight and responsive. fast for an automatic. lots of comfort. sporty! people can't beleive it's a 92'.
I have a 1993 SC400 and the needles have gone out... do you have any idea how to repair those? I understand that a fuse will not fix them, is this correct? I love this car, had it three years and it has 113K.
Thanks, SM.
I have a 94 SC400. Best car I've ever owned. Bought 3 months ago with 75000 on it for 7500.00. Very happy.
