This is the the greatest open car ever from the USA, and maybe one of the greatest cars of all time.
It has a marvelous timeless appearance that simply outclasses anything from any other maker at almost any price.
It remains comfortable, drivable, and most of all, spectacularly enjoyable. This car is a brilliant masterpiece which only becomes more wondrous with the passage of time.
I completely agree that the 1965 Lincoln Continental sedan and convertible are just about the most beautiful, powerful, and classy cars ever built! BigRich on Long Island.
I agree that the 1965 Licoln Contintenal is on of the best riding cars I have ever been in. It is as if your riding on air. When you get under the wheel of this nostalgic spirited classic car you can't help to be taken back to the days where your grandparents drove this car. By it's massasive power of the engine and it's classic simple beauty alone it is a part of well built history to preserve and maintain. I fell in love with this car when I was 7yrs old and my grandfather put me behind the wheel of my grandmaother's 1965 Licoln while he worked the pedals he taught me how to steer. At 15 I got my first drivers license in it. Now, I am 32yrs and my grandmother suprised me the other day by giving me her car I have been wanting all my life. And she a Bute too! And now I'm going to pass it on to my little girl (10yrs) and guess what she asked me the other day? Mommy can I get my first driver's license in it when I get old enough?
What's a "Bute"??
It's read 'beaut' as in 'beaut-i-ful'
I agree with all of the above which is why I have two :D. love the rear end and restyled fenders on the 65's.
