1987 Lincoln Continental signature review from North America
"Hot Rod Lincolin with stunning lines"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Heater core, coolant soaked into the carpet.
-Driver side seat motor.
General comments?
This black beauty was my grandfathers " Sunday car". He bought it new in 1987. The car was very popular, one actually asked to borrow it for wedding purposes. Needles to say it is a very stunning car. It sat in the garage a lot until my grandfather purchased a Cadillac DeVille. It went to his son, then two years later back to me. I am not sure what to do with it. I have seen some lowered 87's with wire rims that look very nice. But I want to keep the originality , but still have a cool cruiser that make my friends jealous. The 5.0 V8 pulls very strong and puts many Mustang owners to shame. For now it sits with my Audi 20v, and BMW 320i waiting for me to turn 16, yes I am 15.
