1977 Lincoln Continental Collector Series review from North America
"Excellent car, wish I had two of them"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver and Passenger window motors plastic piece broke.
I had to rebuild the Carb.
Driveshaft universals went out which caused the drive shaft to sling off.
I changed the ring and pinion gear.
Starter went out.
Cannot keep shocks on the car. (Too heavy).
Alternator went out.
Power steering box leaks like a sive.
8 track plays to quickly.
Sticky speedometer.
General comments?
This machine was purchased in Arizona and is in excellent shape, nice royal Blue paint with a tan leather interior.
For $1,600 (the amount I bought it for),
it has more than paid for itself.
I have driven this car more in 2 years than it saw in 25.
Everytime I stop to feed her octane, someone approaches me and wants to buy my Lincoln.
