I have a 2000 ls v6 and like all the other ls owners I too have also had problems with the window regulators breaking, my gasket seals blew up and leaked oil into the coils... the computer said it was a misfire so I also got the spark plugs to go with that... my bro also has an ls (v8) his has the exact same problem both his back window regulators are gone, same problem with the coils and the oil leakage... unless you have the money for expensive parts and costly service get a Lincoln.. ill gladly sell you mine!!
I own a 2000 Lincoln LS also and have had the motor replaced at 99,000 miles. The coils replaced before that and the car hesitates at 40mph just to name a few of the problems I have had. I was hoping there were some recalls on the car, but apparently the manufacturer doesn't recognize that there are any problems. I wouldn't recommend this car to my worst enemy.
