2000 Lincoln LS review from North America
"Good car, but not for long"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My father bought me a 2000 Lincoln LS in 2007 for Christmas. The first couple of months with the car was pretty good, then things just started to go down hill.
My back window on the driver side never worked.
Both of my wheel bearings went bad, which ran me almost $200 dollars a piece.
Now my car runs hot; it cuts off if I'm sitting at a stop light or if I'm parked, that problem came out of nowhere.
The car jerks, the gear stick is sometimes hard to move, my back lights keep going out, a couple of times the car just wouldn't start, and my gas pedal get stuck after I take it off cruise control.
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful car inside and out, but I think the manufacturers need to take a little more time putting these cars together. I'd rather have a Honda or a Toyota at this point.
